A one-year-old child's mother tells her pediatrician that the child is not capable of walking or crawling. In fact, the child doesn't seem to be showing the expected levels of motor development. What diagnosis might the doctor give this child based on her lack of expected motor skill progress?

    Explanation:

    DCD is a developmental disorder that occurs in children at the school age. it occurs around 5 to 6 percent more in girls than boys. It occurs when there is found the delay in motor skills, coordination, due to which children are not able to perform a common task or we can say the simplest task of everyday life. It is not found a neurological or medical condition that describes the coordination problem in the children. By this disorder, children are not able to perform a simple task such as tying the shoe lashes, going up to the stairs and even unable to perform age-appropriate tasks such as academic tasks as well as self-care tasks. The children who suffer from DCD have average or above-average intellectual abilities. ADHD, LD are the few examples of development conditions problem.
