A salt water lake has been found beneath the surface of Mars. This raised the possibility of finding life on the red planet.
Explanation:
It was impossible to determine the depth of the lake with a radar instrument, but the research team assumed it was at least one meter deep. The lake, similar to the lakes found on Earth, beneath Antarctic ice has been discovered by Italian scientists.
