Dr. McManus Hypothesis is that Prisoners that participate in his clinical treatment are less likely to commit a crime again than those that did not participate.

    Explanation:

An hypothesis is a statement or proposition initially perceived as a guess work that is subject to either be rejected or accepted after going through experimentation. So the statement of fact that Dr. McManus is trying to establish is that his clinical treatment makes prisoners less likely to commit crime and how can only be established by subjecting some set of criminal to the clinical treatment while some do not participate in it (control group). The aftermath of this test in comparison with the control group will determine whether to validate the hypothesis or not.
