The Jamaican religious group who stresses millenarianism is Rastafarianism.

Rastafarianism is a religion that descents from the Judaism of the ancient Israelites and the worship of the God of Abraham. It emerged in Jamaica in the decade of the 1930s, and it is not only considered a religion but a social movement. Its practitioners are highly diverse as there is not a central authority or guidelines that rule this cult.

Milleniarism is present when a social, religious or political community believes in the need of a deep and imminent transformation of societies. After such a change nothing but be the same again. Rastafarism is considered a milleniarist movement as it believes in the apocalyptic destruction of Babylon, and how humanity would move forward into a "New Age".
