    The answer is letter D.

The Congress of Racial Equality pursued its goals through peaceful confrontation. They were an organization that promoted civil rights for African Americans in the Civil Rights Movement and is actually one of the biggest organizations ever formed. Their ideas revolved around a pacifist fellowship, meaning they did not use violence as a tactic to eliminate segregation (e. g. marches and freedom of expression). This was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings.
