    Option D

    Explanation:

The Italian Renaissance as a period of style was a conscious and purposeful revival of the ideals of Greece and Rome.

It was a rebirth of the classical ideas of the Greek and Rome culture. The old Roman empire is known with artworks, ancient designs and sculptures. The Greek is known with ancient scholars and literature

The Italian Renaissance was not only present in artwork but also within literature and it provided a modern platform for art.

It made it possible for artist to express themselves in a whole different way and giving room for the rich and famous to invest in their work of art and it also gave room for other scholars to interpret or even translate prose and work pieces that have been read in Latin for centuries instead of having them the way they were written.
