    There are a few non-economic factors that affect economic development:

    1. Nature can affect the output level.

    (Natural disasters, climate change etc.)

    2. Technology can impact employment, productivity, dependence etc.

    (Advancing of technology, pace of production, price of production etc.)

    3. Social factors affecting overall growth or lack thereof in a country will be things like education, habits, values, personal beliefs, religion etc.

    4. Politics always make an incredible impact.

    5. People greatly affect the economic development, all the way from generation gaps through to population growth.
