A hetero normative world is the one that heterosexuality is the only sexuality generally accepted by society, therefore, it is the only one that is shown in books and or any kind of media. For example, in most schools, health class provides information about heterosexual sexuality and intercourse; but, it barely or not even mentions other types of sexuality or intercourse.
