    Explanation:

    The consequence of it, is because we live in a hetero normative world. A hetero normative world is the one that heterosexuality is the only sexuality generally accepted by society, therefore, it is the only one that is shown in books and or any kind of media. For example, in most schools, health class provides information about heterosexual sexuality and intercourse; but, it barely or not even mentions other types of sexuality or intercourse. In the media we always see heterosexual couples, therefore, little kids tend to think that what is shown is a normal life and anything that goes in another direction is wrong or not normal.
