When people are aware of stereotypes about their social group as it relates to scores on intelligence tests?

    The answer is: Fear may undermine their performance.

    Fear would correlate with an increase in anxiety that made us unable to fully concentrate on the task at our hand. Because of this, when we experience high anxiety during intelligence test, our score would be more likely to be lower than our actual capabilities.
