    Amygdala is the part of the brain which is associated with facilitating long-term memory and embedding emotions with memory.

    "Amygdala" is the limbic structure which is involved in a number of functions of the brain. This includes emotion, learning and memory. Amygdala also modulates the storage of long-term memories. It works along with other regions of the brain like hippocampus and dorsal striatum. The effect of stress hormones are also facilitated by amygdala. It receives messages from body's senses and other internal organs and processes them. It is responsible for many emotions responses in our body.

    Certain emotions that are usually triggered by amygdala's activation are Fear, Happiness, Anxiety, etc.
