    The likely scenario in this case will be that the student will most likely join the secret online group if many of his friends are involved in the group.

    Another likely scenario is that the student will likely join the group if the majority of the class makes up the group or if the majority of the class are in the group.

    An unlikely scenario is refusing to join the group even if he discovers that the group is made up of the majority of the class and many of his friends.
