    Democracy means rule by the people. Athens (Greece) is where the democracy developed at first. But women and slaves were not the part of the electoral list. So if we take that into consideration New Zealand would be considered as the true democratic country as it extended the right of votes to women.

    Magna carta means "The Great Charter" was issued in 1215 by King John of the England. It is the greatest and most influential document. It is the first document to define that every person is subjected to law including the king himself. This document inspire the US constitution.
