    Candidates will campaign in "battleground" states and ignore those that they think will not affect their results. Sometimes politics is all about the numbers, regardless of who they affect directly or indirectly. Political campaigns nowadays are focused on targeting individuals that belong to battleground states and they tend to forget other states that do not add to their number. In this way, people are denied their right to know about their candidates and ultimately affect their decisions on who to be voted.
