    Press on your brake lights as soon as the driver in front of you starts to signal intention or brake as well.

    Explanation:

    You have to apply immediate brake lights as well so that you warn motor vehicles behind you that there is something happening in front of you. This is done to avoid road accident and to aid the driver if there is an emergency. Make sure you are at a safe following distance thus reducing the risk of a pile up. Be sure to be constantly vigilant on the road especially if it is busy or wet.
