El termino ciencias sociales es una denominacion generica para aquellas disciplinas o campos del saber que reclaman para si mismas la condicion de ciencias, que analizan y tratan distintos aspectos de los grupos sociales y de los seres humanos en sociedad, y se ocupan tanto de sus manifestaciones materiales como de las inmateriales.
