    General adaptation syndrome is as the form in which individual responses to stress; it has three stages. On the second stage the individual would be experiencing resistance towards the stressful event. As well as on the first stage, which starts with shock, the body manifests a range of physiological processes. They include elevated production of Glucocorticoids.
