    Ok what you need to say is that: The Founding Fathers were motivated to create a "more perfect union" in order to create a better country than the Articles of the Confederation had created. I would think they'd be motivated to create a more perfect union for not only themselves, but also for their families since that's what would motivate me. The Founding Fathers thought to add this phrase in order to show their intentions and what the Constitution would be written for. Or something along those lines
