sex and work experience have an interactional effect on likelihood of being hired.

    Explanation:

Sex & Work experience have effect on likelihood of being recruited. As given work experience positively effects for employment possibility for women - likelihood of being employed increases with work experience for female candidates. And, work experience negatively effects employment possibility - likelihood of being employed decreases with work experience for male candidates.

Both sex & work experience effect likelihood of being recruited, but they both have an interlinked effect on 'likelihood of being recruited'
