What major export from Portugal is made from oak trees?

    Cork is the major export material made out of Oak trees from Portugal. These trees are endemic only in Southwest Europe and Northwest Africa. Corks are used in varieties of products but the most known use of it is for wine stoppers. Portugal is responsible for producing approximately half of the corks harvested on a yearly basis around the world.
