One incident that exemplified Martin Luther King, Jr.’s message was when President Truman created a special committee to look into cases of racial discrimination in the military that resulted in the abolition of segregation in the armed forces. This clearly embodies Martin Luther King’s message of equal rights where people should be treated equally.
