If an improper payment was made during the time that Andrea Jung served as Avon's CEO then she will be held responsible for those payments even if she is unaware of them. Because as the chief executive officer (CEO) for the company their is no way a decision like that would be made without her giving the approval first.

Even If such decisions were taking without consulting her then it is as a result of her negligence and not showing the right attitude to work.
