Double jeopardy refers to the students who have been accused to be put on trial twice for the same offense. This is in accordance to the fifth amendments of the constitution which states that no person shall be subject to the same offense to be put twice in jeopardy. this also prevent the prosecutor form charging the students over and over again until found guilty.
