The Asch experiment yielded different results when other researchers tried to replicate it decades later, but a recent replication of Milgram's experiment had virtually the same results. What important implications does Milgram's research have for contemporary society?

    In Psychology, the Asch conformity experiments were several studies performed by Solomon Asch that focused on if and how people yielded to or defied a majority groups and the results from such influences on personal opinion and beliefs. Milgram's replication Asch's paradigm shows that the power of conformity can and will still lead to real life examples of obedience in today's society.
