    This is created by profit-seeking. Elections are believed to be influenced through the way the media covers political candidates. It can stem from the media being biased in order to be competitive for viewership. Media bias can encourage political parties to provide what the media wants to attract endorsements and in return creating platform extremism and polarized contests.
