Is China's growing economic power good or bad for the U. S.? (Explain in 2-3 sentences!)

    I would say it's bad, because China technically owns the US. See the US is owes trillions of dollars to China. And once a country Starts to grow economic power and become a super power they then also grow military power, so if they want us to repay the debt they can force us to re-pay that debt.

    I would say it's good. According to the U. S capitalism model, competition between markets pushes those markets to be more efficient for their own survival. Therefore, an expanding China market would mean that the US needs to become more competitive and efficient in how it approaches the its markets.
