Alexander the Great began his military campaign at 20 years of age, and conquered all the civilised world from Greece to India in only 10 years. Greece had the best of phylosophy, arts, and ideals of beauty forms, all this was taken to the places he had conquered. When he died, his empire was divided in four major divisions - East, West, North and South.
