    Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act proposed on 27th March 2002 which is a US Federal law that used to control the Political campaign's financing. This act otherwise called BCRA or McCain-Feingold Act that came to effect from 1st January 2003. This act was created to end the two big political issues during the election time.

    One of those two is the increased soft money's (public financing) role in the campaign. By restricting the political party from offering or receiving funds the scandals during the campaign finance can be avoided. This act was proposed by John McCain and Russ Feingold who were the Senators.
