Next semester Helen is planning to take a sabbatical to go to Sweden and study how they utilize nature to teach preschoolers. It fascinates her to know that the children spend all day outside and not in classrooms. Helen has achieved what level of Maslow's hierarchy?

    Explanation: According to psychology, self-actualization occurs when we pursue to fulfill certain needs in our lives and that has been covered then we somehow pursued our dreams and goals and have managed to reach our full potential that when self-actualization has occured. We have managed to have a successful career, played our role on the community or fulfilled certain aspired dreams.

    Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

    Based on this Hierarchy there are basic needs (shelter, food, water etc) at the bottom that needs to be met first and the complex ones at the top of this pyramid.

    At the most top of this pyramid is where we find self-actualization which means it occurs after basic needs at the base have been met, which gives us time to focus on realising our dreams and goals.
