Dr. Watson, a behavioral psychologist, is studying the development of phobias in children. His research will require him to "scare" children with a loud noise while they are presented with a "fear" object, a hamster. After phobic conditioning, each subject will be enrolled in a desensitization program to eliminate or reduce the phobic response.

There is a high probability of it being approved

    Explanation:

For this example, if Dr Watson is the first to have conduct this research, there is a high probability of the research being approved. First of all, there is a desensitization program that is aimed at eliminating or reducing any likely harm. Perhaps if the children aren't harmed by the fear object, then the research's value is great. On the other hand, if they are harmed, this harm is reduced afterwards, which still makes the value of the research greater.
