    One argument made against immigration is that Immigrants are open to public services and that they should be subjected to the payment of tax and the Criminal Justice System.

    There are a plethora of arguments against immigration. It has been argued against immigration that there is usually social tension as a result of the failure of immigrants to blend with local communities and culture.

    Other arguments include;

    Overpopulation of the country which adversely affects the country's economy. That immigrant's culture and ideas will negatively affect the economic and political institutions. Thereby destroying the economic growth of the country. That immigrants are major causes of high crime rate That immigrants are capable of posing as a threat to lives and property. This means immigrant are viewed as terrorists.
