In terms of social change, "time constancy" refers to the idea that:

A. human society has continued to exist in some form or another throughout recorded time.

B ... one must see widespread social change happen within one's own lifespan.

C. people tend to regard things as being largely the same even though things have changed substantially over time.

D. people have knowledge, or faith, that significant change happens even when they are not around to see it.
