In which regions were most of the wealthiest states found in 1860

    I believe the answer is: Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

    These states was among the first states in united states to experience Industrial Revolution which influenced by the Great Britain. Due to massive increase in production, these states obtain the most wealth compared to other states who still used human labors.

    The most wealthiest part of the U. S was the north in 1860, right after the Civil War.

    The wealthiest states include: Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

    They were the wealthiest states because of their manufactured goods and value of farms.
