    Assuming the jonas here is the Jonas from the Book of Mormon, who was chosen by the Messiah as one of the 12 members to form the Quorum of the Twelve and was the son of Nephi the Disciple; then the honors in our society that are similar would be any form of selected knighthood or membership into a select group of honored individuals. Such groups could be like the British or Canadian royalty.
