A government court sentences someone to death is this a legitimate use of power? and why?

    U. S courts sentence people to death "capitol punishment" on any infrequent basis.

    some states remove capitol punishment in court sentence, technically it's a legitimate use of power, weather it is or isn't morally correct, it is left to the individual to decide.
