    The social contract theory says that individuals decide to cede part of their freedom to an entity (the government) that rules everyone.

    Explanation:

    It means that every individual thinking in their own good, give power to the government to protect them from the risk of living in the community. The constitutional government needs the acceptance of the citizens, in order to submit their will to the laws created by this constitutional government
