How did Europeans justify imperialism in Africa's interior? a.) They believed that Africans should learn how to be capitalists like Europeans in order to improve their own lives.

b.) They feared competition from the Americans, who had threatened to make parts of Africa into American territories.

c.) They argued that vast stores of natural resources were being wasted because Africa was too thinly populated.

d.) They claimed that Africans were naturally inferior to Europeans and needed to be "civilized" and converted to Christianity

    Explanation:

    At that time, the Europeans believed that as a good christian, they have to spread the word of Gospel to as many people as they can. Since the most Africans did not believe in Christianity, European believed that by colonizing and making the local African people learn about Christianity is a way for them to do God's work.

    Not all people in Europe believed this of course. Since regardless of their justification, the fact is that many Africans were killed and forced to work to death during the Imperialism period.

    Over time, the number of people who opposed Imperialism started to grow and European Imperialism started to crumble in 1800s.
