I am c) Julia Ward Howe. Julia Ward Howe was a noted suffragist leader and abolitionist who wrote an appeal to celebrate womanhood and motherhood on a specific day, now commonly known as "Mother's Day". She laid the foundation for women's rights (pushing her husband to let her be active in the household) as well as in the public eye. She also pushed for academia, such as art and literature.
