Ronaldo's dog, Mickey, was classically conditioned by a previous owner to bark every time he heard the doorbell. Ronaldo did an excellent job of stopping Mikey's association between barking and the doorbell, making the association extinct. One day to Ronaldo's surprise, Mickey barked in response to the ringing of the doorbell. It is likely that Mikey is showing what aspect of conditioning?
