    Panic

    Explanation:

The human being has an intrinsic behavior of alert to situations in which supposedly runs some type of danger. When the human brain perceives a situation of risk, it automatically arouses the sensation of panic.

Panic is a stressful situation that arouses fear and anxiety, causing the human being to look for quick alternatives to get out of the danger situation. When in a group, a generalized panic arouses uncoordinated actions, where each individual makes a decision to protect himself from any threat. This is called the herd effect.

For example, in a shooting situation, everyone will do something to protect themselves, but the panic effect is widespread - herd effect - when everyone panics along.
