    The answer is " autonomy vs. shame/doubt".

    The toddler in this stage starts developing more physically and start moving around. It is from the age of 1 and a half year to three years when the toddlers start claiming their freedom. They demonstrate that by sometimes walking away from their parents and taking something of their choice to play with, including other choices like what to wear or what not to eat etc.
