Do juries decide court cases fairly when one of the opposing parties is rich and the other is poor? no; because rich people can afford to hire better lawyers than poor people, and juries are influenced by the skill of the opposing lawyers.

    That statement is true.

    Lawyers with higher skills and connections rarely willing to work for lower income that provided by the federal government.

    This means that even though the defendant is guilty, the juries may not perceive it as so because they're persuaded by the highly-paid lawyers.
