What is the term used to describe the degree to which the teacher is vigilant, and continuously responsive to student behavior?

    The term used to describe the degree to which the teacher is vigilant, and continuously responsive to student behavior is withiness.

    The only thing I found for that word is that the adjective withy refers to people who are agile and flexible, so perhaps this teacher accommodates himself to his students' needs.
