Roxanne finishes high school with very high grades and is interested in pursuing a degree in literature. Her family argues, however, that an engineering degree would be a better path as thousands of students go in that direction. They think it would be easier for her to get a job.     Roxanne wants to do something that is seen as not popular by her family because they have seen most people go for engineering hence they want her also to steer towards that direction.
