    B. False

In group favoritism (aka intergroup bias) group members show favoritism towards individuals that are apart of the same group. This is often expressed in evaluating of others, distributing resources, and offering opportunities. For example, a cheerleader brought cupcakes to class for her birthday, after every student in the class received a cupcake she distributed the extra cupcakes among her fellow cheerleaders. She was showing favoritism to members of her group or "squad"
