The correct answer is letter C

In an evaluative question, it is important that all alternatives are related to the same objective. Using the example from the previous paragraphs again, I could write an item whose purpose is "to assess knowledge about Cold War participants".

In this case, all elements of the item (base text, statement, correct alternative - template - and incorrect alternatives - distractors) must be related to the chosen purpose. Each alternative, therefore, must present information about Cold War participants. There should be no alternative, right or wrong, that brings statements about the time of the conflict, for example. When all the alternatives have a similar structure and deal with the same purpose, we say that the item has parallelism.
