The FDA or Federal Drug Administration's position on caffeine use by pregnant women is that moderate doses of caffeine does not hold any negative effects in terms of reproduction. Yet, pregnant women should limit their caffeine intake to less than a 12 oz of coffee and to avoid refills, because they may hold negative effects to the fetus or Baby.
