Brandon has purchased a new processor online as an upgrade. When he purchased the processor he made sure that it used the same socket his motherboard is using. But he did not check to see if the motherboard chipset is compatible. What will happen if you install a processor on a motherboard that can fit the socket but is the wrong chipset?

The correct answer would be, You would not be able to install the processor in the wrong motherboard.

    Explanation:

Computer is a device with a complex structure. I has a lot of ports, chips, slots, etc, from where the devices or parts can be connected with each other. The compatibility between the devices and the chips or slots is very important. They must be compatible with each other. So like in this question, if the process and the motherboard has same slot or socket, they can fix with each other, but won't be able to connect, as they both are not compatible with each other because the motherboard chipset is different. So you would not be able to install the processor in the wrong motherboard.
