    Answer:within-subject design

    Explanation:

This is a research in which participants are not divided or only exposed to one part of the experiment but they all get to be exposed to all conditions involved in the experiment or research.

For example if the experiment is about testing the effect of jogging and yoga on memory, all participants will jog and take the memory test and all of them will also do yoga and take the memory test.

    Advantages

The major advantage fewer people can enough to carry on with research whereas if they were divided into separate group a large number of participants may be required.

Individual differences is overcomed through this type of experiment because all participants are exposed to the same conditions.

    Drawbacks

A carryover effect may be an issue which refers to how participating in one condition may affect the performance of participants when exposed in another condition.

Fatigue also may be a drawback when participants have been exposed into one condition when they go to another condition they may already be tired and that will impact their performance or they may be plainly bored by then.
