    They both treat something like trivial creatures.

    Brobdingnag is an imaginary land in the mocking novel Gulliver's Travels authored by famous Jonathan Swift, possessed by goliaths. Lemuel Gulliver visits the land after the ship on which he is voyaging is passed over course and he is isolated from a gathering investigating the obscure land.
