The question is, is human involvement in the natural order going too far?

    This would depend on one's view on what power humans should have over the environment. Over the centuries, humans have messed with the natural order of things by killing animals to the brink of extinction, moving plants and animals to different parts of the world, and even trying to change the environment to make it more conducive to other organisms (including ourselves). If human involvement in the natural order of things has gone too far, it went too far 200 hundred years ago when the industrial revolution began in Europe.
